Road To 56 Turkey

Turkey

Meyer RanchThis picturesque 56-acre property features a welcoming entrance, nice elevations and a scenic view. It is located 15 miles north of Hondo with frontage on County Road 232. This property is covered with live oak, persimmon, mountain laurel and native grasses.

Mar 16, 2017  I really like road to 56, but it can definitely become a clusterfuck sometimes. This is mostly because of the number of different national focus mods it has. I would like it if there was a version that just had the tech tree and cut out the national focuses.

This mod could have been really good but it is just so horribly easy to play even more so than vanilla. The focus trees are not only incredibly overpowered for some nations they are also very unrealistic.

The descriptions to focuses for some nations are so silly it really ruins immersion, if i remeber correctly you can for example get like 1mil extra population as sweden for no realistic or logical reason. The problem is that alot of modders make focuses for their own nations and just make them op as fuck with no regard for balance.Edit: Grammar. I was asked to be in R56 and its fucking terrifying what will happen when its added. The other focuses are OP and the mod has such a bad rep for balance that the moment I release it I KNOW I will be flooded with hate mail the moment my mod gets added.

Because they'll assume everything is made up and I am just some super ultra nationalist like the True Brazil guy.Even though I did my due diligence, and implemented real plans the nation had thought up and a real plot against Mexico by the Soviet Union. The moment someone sees the Agrarian Union focus., they would assume I am making shit up and flood me with hate mail. So now I am gonna have to do a preface every time they start the game with a disclaimer and a button to show sources.Brazil really poisoned the fucking well for latin focus trees and every other latin focus tree has to deal with the fallout. And its only getting worse since minors can easily take majors and it upsets the nationalists. Especially American nationalists.(Mexico fully integrates every registered militia into the military to be trained as full on soldiers, Mexican authorities estimated 3 million men would be now soldiers ready to be put into divisions.

Since militia men were already pseudo-military controlled loosely by government, it has very little effect.). After trying The Road to '56, as it is one of the most popular modpacks out there, I'm not sure how people can enjoy it.I was playing as China in the screenshot and didn't pay much attention to Europe. After beating the Japanese, I decided to have a look, and oh boy.Ireland has declared war on UK, and is not in a faction.

Sweden has become fascist and joined Hitler along with Dietsland. They're currently at war with the Allies, who are in a war with Turkey, Iran, Afganistan and Kingdom of Iraq. Allies are also in war with the Comitern for some reason. I actually enjoy the randomness of the mod. Playing vanilla gets SO boring after a short while. You know almost exactly what every country is going to do before they do it.

Road To 56 Turkey Focus Tree Ottoman Empire

With road to 56 the game becomes much more exciting because of the unpredictable nature of countries. It's not without fault for sure, Turkey and Brazil trees are way OP, they catapult those countries to major status, but even that gives the game a breath of new life so it becomes viable to play someone other than the same old countries. Road 56 has one huge problem - it's a modpack. Not a mod of itself but a modpack. Modpacks are usually very bad for strategy games because it upsets the balance.

Road 56 did a great job at making the mods compatible, but they did not compliment each other and thus didn't work so well in practice because they were never designed to be meant played together. Half of the focus trees are outright broken because of this, and therefore the greatest downfall of the mod.I personally stick to Vanilla+ mod.

Road To 56 Turkey

While not anywhere as ambitious as Road56 is, it makes the Vanilla game much more fluid and playable IMO. There are a bit too many research bonuses. In my current game as US I have -70% research time in 1942 and it will be -87.5% within the next couple of years. And that is the general bonus, so up to 97.5% for specific tech groups like electronics or aircraft.Once you get over 50% you can join faction research and plow through all the techs researched by faction members for 1 day to 1 month per tech. Also some of the repeating techs are a little silly.

Like dispersed industry giving up to 90% retention. Or logistics/field hospitals since those percentages are added.
