My question is simple, but the answers I have received are not simple. I have read through as many articles and posts as I possibly can about Windows 10 updates. I have not found a sure way of making sure drivers are compatible. I did run the technical previewfor a small time and I had to fight windows update over display drivers. Will there be any granular control over this? All things read point to 'You're out of luck. Just get newer hardware.'
I hope that Microsoft will implement a control panel option to manage device drivers updates because even after installing the correct driver, Windows 10 would find a 'best' driver and install it over the driver that I received from the manufacturer.
