Training podcasts are a great way to bring back key topics and dig deeper into them, so learners are reminded to incorporate key themes into everyday work. Increase engagement and understanding When added as part of a blended pre-learning program before a live instructor-led course, podcasts help get early buy-in from participants. Blended learning is often mixed with Instructor Led learning programs. What’s the perfect blend? What do you blend anyway?Blended learning offers the best of both worlds. Not only do you benefit from the implementation of a synchronous learning strategy, but also you have the chance to benefit from “go at your own pace” techniques that are part of an asynchronous learning strategy.

Creating an effective (VILT) is not as simple as broadcasting a standard, classroom-style or Instructor Led Training (ILT) lecture. There is an art to creating a virtual classroom and it takes a different design mentality to address the important differences between the two. In order to deliver a fresh, appealing and engaging VILT that encourages discussion and collaboration, apply the following three tips. Think Short and EngagingOne of the challenges facing facilitators of VILT is the inability to know when they’ve lost their audience. In the traditional classroom setting, you can read the room and break when necessary to keep engagement and interaction to a maximum but the same is not true for VILT.
